We love Philly. It’s the midwest of the east coast. We’re excited for you to love it too.

Things to do

The Barnes has one of the greatest impressionist collections in the WORLD. (Yea, you read that right).

Reading Terminal

The Mütter is a museum of scientific oddities. It’s weird and gross and fascinating and perfect.

Roddin Museum

Chartered in 1876, the Philadelphia Museum of Art has an impressive collection that spans time. (You will also find the Rocky steps and statue. A real three-fer!)

Philadelphia Magic Gardens

Neighborhoods to see

East Passyunk

Old City

Italian Market

Food (you have to have it or you’ll die)

Philly Cheesesteaks

Are they disgusting? Yes! Do we love them and want you to have them? Also yes!

Philly has the best vegan food. Even cheesesteaks.

And why would you eat another living human being (yes, animals are all humans) when you could not?

Try the vegan cheesesteaks. The vegan wings. The vegan meatballs. The vegan mozzarella sticks.

We could go on.

Tattooed Mom is also legit.

We like the vegan chicken there. The vegan pierogis. And the dang waffle fries.

Don’t want to eat vegan? That’s ok, we won’t tell anyone.

Want a non-vegan Philly cheeseteak? So here they just call them cheesesteaks. And frequently they are made with chicken. Weird? We don’t understand what people eat. Go to Frizwit. Go to John’s Roast Pork. Go to Jims on South. If you want to do the dueling cheesesteak thing to Pat’s. (Don’t go to Geno’s, they’re racist, xenophobic, pro-death penalty, and lit with fluorescent light (can you imagine?)).

Other delicious food in South Philly

Vegan? By now you know how we feel about this.

The Chilly Banana (Vegan banana whip)

The Tasty (delish vegan diner)

Non-vegan but nevertheless delicious.

Do yourself a favor and eat a pie and mash from Stargazy. If you don’t you will regret it for the rest of your life.

It’s no Kansas City Barbecue, we’ll be honest. But what are you going to do?
